With exciting designs and innovative structures, San Francisco is at the forefront of the green building movement and is ranked the Greenest City in North America. Participants will be given the opportunity to tour world acclaimed buildings and learn from experts about them.
California Academy of Sciences
The first LEED Platinum certified museum in the world. Located in the heart of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, this science museum is considered a “masterpiece in sustainable design.” Along with science exhibits and aquarium, the building features rechargeable vehicle stations, radiant sub-floor heating, recycled jean insulation, solar panels and living roof.
